Partial BLZ Restrictions in August

There is a lot happening at “Bundesleistungszentrum” at Ki over the summer. In addition to our regular route setting days on Mondays and Wednesdays, we have some additional events from the Austrian Climbing Association (KVÖ) and renovation work.

Here’s an overview:

1. KVÖ Route Setting
   From Monday, August 7th to Friday, August 11th, the KVÖ Overhang Indoor, between lines 50 to 55, will be reequipped and will not be usable during this period.
2. Renovation of BLZ Bouldering Area and Ki Campus
   The BLZ bouldering area on the 1st floor will be renovated, tentatively between August 28th and August 30th. Additionally, the Campus board in the Ki Boulder area will receive a facelift and be rebuilt.
3. Austrian National Championships
   From September 24th to October 5th, the KVÖ lead outdoor wall and the boulder outdoor area will be closed for route setting and competitions. Further competition information will follow soon.
4. Boulder and Lead Simulation
   From October 13th to 17th, there will be limitations in the bouldering and lead areas. We will inform you about the specific affected wall areas soon.
